A U.S. Airman assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Medical Element peels off an occlusive dressing from a simulated sucking chest wound on a practice mannequin while training Emirati servicemembers on tactical combat casualty care fundamentals in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Nov. 11, 2025. TCCC is divided into three phases: care under fire, tactical field care, and tactical evacuation care, with the acronym MARCH, massive hemorrhage, airway, respirations, circulation, head injury/hypothermia, used to guide treatment priorities.
