British Army Maj. Gen. Andy Cox, Deputy Commanding General–Support for III Armored Corps, joined Brig. Gen. Van Epps and Command Sgt. Maj. John McDwyer as judges visiting four dining facilities across Fort Hood, Texas for the annual Thanksgiving Cook-Off on Nov. 25, 2025. Dining Facilities Always Ready, Theodore Roosevelt, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Phantom Centralized HUB showcased their best culinary teams as culinary specialists went head-to-head, serving everything from lobster tails and coffee-crusted pork tenderloin to prime rib and traditional Thanksgiving turkey. Units also competed in décor, themed displays, and ice sculpting, highlighting the talent and creativity within the ranks. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Patrick M. Connery)
