Gunter, command chief of the 99th ABW, present the 2025 Air Combat Command Civilian Category II of the Year Award to Octavio Miranda, a laboratory technician with the 99th Dental Squadron, during a commander’s call at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Nov. 19, 2025. Miranda took initiative in his workplace by training his coworkers in digital dentistry innovations as well as crafting over 200 prostheses with a combined value of $359,000.
