ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Nov. 17, 2025) The U.S. Naval Academy holds the 33rd Annual Angel Tree ceremony in Nimitz Library. Each year the midshipmen from 6th Company decorate a Christmas tree and menorah with paper angel ornaments provided by the Salvation Army. Each ornament has the first name, age, gender, clothing sizes, and a wish list of items for a child in need in the greater Annapolis area during the Angel Tree program. As the undergraduate college of our country’s naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
