Two students from Churchland High School use an ultrasound devise on a mannequin designed to teach medical students how to use the devise effectively on real patients. Thirty-two students participated in a Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) event at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) simulation center Oct. 15 where they got hands-on experience using medical technologies, a chance to see what Navy medicine is about and learn more about medical related fields.
