NEX Oceana, Virginia, cut the ribbon on Oct. 10, 2025, to open its newly reimagined Navy Pride Shop. Sailors and families will find a wide variety of “Navy” items including clothing, drinkware, children’s toys and collectible items. Cutting the ribbon from left to right were Capt. Josh Appezzato, Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station Oceana; Eugene Varela, General Manager, NEX Oceana; Nicole Tucker, Store Manager, NEX Oceana; Jen McComas, NEXCOM Tidewater District Vice President; and Capt. Robert Littman, Executive Officer, Naval Air Station Oceana. NEXCOM enables warfighter readiness and strengthens the Navy’s quality of life mission.
