KINGS BAY, Ga. (October 30, 2025) First Sea Lord engages with UK forces based at HM Naval Base Clyde, including Royal Marines from 43 Commando, the Royal Navy, and Ministry of Defence Police, as they hone their skills during the NEPTUNE GUARDIAN exercise at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. During this semi-annual exercise, which is enabled by the Polaris Sales Agreement (PSA), UK security forces navigate high tempo scenarios in a state-of-the-art simulator, refining tactics and procedures for critical security operations. The ability to conduct this training in the U.S. strengthens the UK-U.S. partnership through the PSA, allowing for the exchange of expertise with U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Marine Corps counterparts to ensure the continued protection of strategic assets.
