A group of U.S. Army soldiers in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) digital camouflage are walking together in what appears to be a Middle Eastern or Central Asian location, likely Afghanistan based on the Dari/Pashto script visible on the building signage. Several senior officers are engaged in conversation while moving as a group past a commercial building. Civilian local nationals are visible in the background.

Gen. John F. Campbell, U.S. Army vice chief of staff, and Maj. Gen. Kevin R. Wendel, commanding general First Army, walk with Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, adjutant general of Indiana through a mock village, one of the unique training venues at Muscatatuck, near Butlerville, Ind., May 18. The village included role-players, live animals, and realistic sounds and smells. While touring the training facilities, Campbell visited members of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy assigned to the Provincial Reconstruction Teams and other civilian contractors preparing for deployment overseas, aerial flights, and ground tours observing the more 35,000 acres of maneuver training areas located at Atterbury near Edinburgh, Ind., as well as observing the nearly 1,000-acre, world-class advanced urban training facilities located at Muscatatuck near Butlerville, Ind.
