251009-N-ML137-1423 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Oct. 9, 2025) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia navigate a maze while blindfolded to find Randy, a training mannequin, during a Captain’s Cup at the installation’s gym, Oct. 9, 2025. The installation’s air operations department and Morale, Welfare and Recreation hosted the multi-event competition which was inspired by the field of Naval aviation. NSF Diego Garcia’s mission is to provide critical support to U.S. and allied forces forward deployed to the Indian Ocean, while supporting multi-theater forces operating in the CENTCOM, AFRICOM, EUCOM and PACOM areas of responsibilities in support of overseas contingency operations.
