U.S. Army Staff. Sgt. Alex Collins, an Infantryman assigned to the Multi-Purpose Company, 1st Battalion 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, carries the PDWC 100 drone equipped with the Widowmaker munitions dropper during Combined Resolve 26-1 in Hohenfels, Germany, Oct 9, 2025. The Widowmaker has the capabilities to drop multiple M67 fragmentation grenades, M18 smoke grenades, and “blue bodies” or simulated fragmentation grenades. Exercise Combined Resolve 26-1 provides units with tailored inputs that reflect the complexities of the European theater, enabling realistic training and preparing for regional challenges.
