NAVAL AMPHIBIOUS BASE CORONADO (Oct. 3, 2025) – Capt. Clinton Cornell, commander, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 1, addresses guests during the change of command ceremony for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3 at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Oct. 3, 2025. During the ceremony, Cmdr. John Hayes III, incoming commander of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 3, relieved Cmdr. Warren Fogler, outgoing commander of EODMU 3. EODMU 3 is a subordinate command of EODGRU 1 and operates as part of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Force providing skilled, capable, and combat-ready deployable Navy EOD and Navy Diver forces around the globe to support a range of operations.
