U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Keronie Williston, a Connecticut native and combat engineer assigned to the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, saws a piece of wood used for shoring during a training exercise at the Guardian Centers in Perry, Georgia, Sept. 19, 2025. During the week-long training, Marines enhanced their ability to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats through realistic, scenario-based exercises focused on reconnaissance, decontamination and casualty rescue.
