                            ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 28, 2025) Aviation Ordinanceman 2nd Class Kyle Smith, attached to the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 50 "Valkyries" detachment aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), conducts maintenance on an MH-60R Seahawk in preparation for the Sink Exercise in support of UNITAS 2025, the 66th iteration of the world's longest-running multinational maritime exercise. UNITAS, Latin for Unity, focuses on enhanced interoperability, building regional partnerships, and demonstrating U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet as the trusted maritime partner in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
