FORT POLK, La. — Soldiers, family members, and more than 30 dogs gather for a group photo before setting off on the second annual Pawsitive Steps Dog Walk at Warrior Hills Golf Course, Sept. 20, 2025. Hosted by Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, the event was held in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month and National Service Dog Month, and encouraged participants to reflect on the healing power of pets while connecting with their community.
