U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, are presented an award from 1st Combat Readiness Regiment, 1st Marine Logistics Group, leadership after being recognized for “most laps completed” as a group at a Laps for Life award ceremony on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sept. 17, 2025. The ceremony recognized the Marines and Sailors who completed the most laps as a team, as individuals, with and without a ruck during the unit’s first Laps for Life event, which was held to raise mental health awareness and promote suicide prevention.
