New Jersey National Guard Soldiers and Airmen in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, September 12, 2025, load equipment bound for the Republic of Albania as part of a key Defense Security Cooperation Agency and National Guard Bureau initiative to use National Guard flights for transport of Building Partner Capacity materials to State Partnership Program participants. The transport was coordinated by the NJNG's Joint Staff J4 logistics office in conjunction with the Joint Consolidation Point at Naval Support Activity, part of Naval Supply Systems Command’s Weapon Systems Support, located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Members of the Albanian Armed Forces received the equipment in Tirana, Albania, September 14, 2025 from the New Jersey Air National Guard's 108th Wing. The effort supports a recent United States federal executive order on reforming foreign defense sales for increased speed and accountability.
