KEKAHA, Hawaii (July 17 2025) Thomas Nizo, deputy public works officer of the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, gifts Dawn Chang, DLNR board member, a challenge coin during an installation tour with Department of Land and Natural Resources officials (DLNR). DLNR officials visited PMRF for a tour of testing and training grounds, historical and Native Hawaiian preservation sites and natural resources preservation practices being conducted and upheld by the installation. These connections reinforce PMRF's commitment to its community, promoting mutual understanding and respect and strengthens relationships between military and local officials and organizations. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
