KEKAHA, Hawaii (July 23 2025) Under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Summer Intern Program, over 160 universities were solicited for this very competitive program and after completing interview and selection process, Kailea, Joe-Ansel, David, Alicia and Amanda were selected and assigned to PMRF.
Interns are processed for security clearance and are provided housing, transportation and a stipend for 10 weeks. This is the fifth year that PMRF is participating in this program.
The goal is to recruit college-level candidates to work for DoD and provide a pipeline of workforce talent to support future DoD test and evaluation demands.
The interns will apply their knowledge, broaden their skills and gain valuable experience as they are exposed to test and evaluation in real world settings.
In addition to direct engagement via PMRF mentors on range activities and projects, interns also participate in weekly tech talks with top leadership on test and evaluation topics such as autonomy and artificial intelligence, cyber, directed energy and hypersonics, and careers in test and evaluation.
