U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Wolfe, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency explosive ordnance disposal technician, assigned to Camp Lejeune, NC., screens soil during a recovery mission in Germany, Aug. 26, 2025. Recovery team members assist the assigned forensic anthropologist on site with excavation, screening, and other tasks as deemed necessary in the process of recovering possible material evidence. The United States is committed to DPAA’s mission to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
