An Air Force aerospace medical technician with 182nd Medical Group, 182nd Airlift Wing, reviews patient data transferred from the point of injury using the Battlefield Assisted Trauma Distributed Observation Kit-Joint (BATDOK-J) during an Air Force-Marine Corps Joint Medical Training Exercise on Aug. 12, 2025. BATDOK-J, a mobile application within the Joint Operational Medical Information System (JOMIS) ecosystem, facilitates real-time patient data transfer from the point of injury. The exercise enhanced interoperability, operational readiness and supported Navy Medicine’s goal of delivering agile medical units through modern clinical information systems like those produced by the JOMIS Program Management Office (PMO).
