Learlino Bluitt, an environmental health officer with NMCFHPC, with a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his contributions to the Navy during an award ceremony August 27, 2025, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. Bluitt’s fleet innovative mindset resulted in the rapid deployment of two forward deployable preventive medicine units in support of the U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Central Command operations.
