250827-O-NJ594-1169, PORTSMOUTH, Va. (August 27, 2025) - Capt. Darryl Arfsten, Commander, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC), presents Lt. Cmdr. Carey Vincent, an occupational and environmental physician with NMCFHPC, with a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his contributions to the Navy during an award ceremony August 27, 2025, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. Vincent led the revision of the heat and cold stress manual, enhancing warfighter readiness, and served on a shipyard safety board, implementing protections for more than 12,000 employees.
