Student day campers attending the Robotics STEAM Day summer camp on Aug. 19, 2025, at STARBASE Rees, near Hermiston, Oregon, work on programming their Sphero robot balls to complete the “Moon Rover Mission 1,” which involves scanning one quadrant of the moon's surface and returning to the home base. The four-day camp held at the Rees Training Center from August 18-21, 2025, allowed students to work on various projects, including building and launching rockets, Wildland Firefighting, and creating ‘BattleBots’ using Sphero robot ball technology.
