John Stubbs, a teacher with STARBASE Rees, helps student campers troubleshoot their code programs and move Sphero robot balls during the Robotics STEAM Day summer camp on Aug. 19, 2025, at STARBASE Rees, near Hermiston, Oregon. With this hands-on technology, they will be able to conduct “Moon Rover Mission 1,” which involves scanning one quadrant of the moon's surface and returning to the home base. The four-day camp held at the Rees Training Center from August 18-21, 2025, allowed students to work on various projects, including building and launching rockets, Wildland Firefighting, and creating ‘BattleBots’ using Sphero robot ball technology.
