    U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jeffrey Perezhernandez with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), ground guides a Tractor, Rubber Tired, Articulated Steering Multipurpose (TRAM) vehicle to add dirt to the road while conducting roadway improvement practical application on their Combat Service Support Area to prepare for future roadway improvement operations in Yuma, Ariz., Aug. 23, 2025. Roadway maintenance operations balance enhancing mobility with the preservation of environmental integrity to ensure safe and reliable travel for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, and Department of Defense personnel in the Yuma Sector. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
