Marcus Duarte, with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), conducts a roadway improvement practical application on their Combat Service Support Area to prepare for their future roadway improvement operations in Yuma, Ariz., Aug. 23, 2025. Roadway maintenance and improvement operations balance enhancing mobility with the preservation of environmental integrity to ensure safe and reliable travel for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, and Department of Defense personnel in the Yuma Sector.
