Adm. Samuel J. Paparo, commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, met with Soldiers assigned to 11th Airborne Division during Northern Edge 25 on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 19, 2025. The 11th Airborne Division delivers decisive large-scale combat operations in extreme cold weather, mountainous, and high-latitude environments, executing expeditionary operations worldwide and conducting Multi-Domain Operations throughout the Indo-Pacific theater and the Arctic.
