A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 533, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, conducts aerial refueling operations with a KC-130J Hercules on Aug. 18, 2025, near Cold Bay, Alaska, during Arctic Edge 2025 (AE25). Aerial refueling extends aircraft range and endurance, allowing U.S. and partner forces to operate longer and respond more effectively to missions worldwide.
