The 16th CAB sets up and employs the Anduril Altius 600 Launched Effects during a Special User Demonstration held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. The Soldiers had a week of classroom learning and then moved onto hands on operations before employing the LE in a training environment on JBLM.

The 16th Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) is stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington. It is a subordinate unit of the 7th Infantry Division and I Corps. The brigade provides aviation support, including air assault, reconnaissance, and logistical operations.

The Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation, alongside key counterparts, is leading the charge evaluating three cutting-edge Launched Effects (LE) as part of the Army’s Continuous Transformation. These systems are designed to enhance battlefield dominance and redefine modern military operations. The Three Launched Effects being evaluated: AEVEX Atlas, Anduril Altius 600, and Raytheon Coyote Block III.
