Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet, participates in an expeditionary metal and polymer equipment demonstration during a walking tour hosted by the Naval Postgraduate School’s Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE) at Fleet Readiness Center, Southwest, aboard Naval Air Station, North Island. During the event, which was a part of the U.S. Navy’s Exercise Trident Warrior 25, CAMRE showcased its experiment on operationalizing advanced manufacturing, focusing on developing doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures to transform cutting-edge advanced manufacturing capabilities into combat power and operational readiness.
