A doughnut charge is a loop of detonation cord used to destroy locked door handles. Combat engineers with MWSS-172 and 3rd Landing Support Battalion conducted urban breaching training to enhance mobility, survivability, and lethality in built-up environments by practicing explosive and mechanical entry techniques.
