Harry E. Rushing Jr., a family member attending the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency’s Korean and Cold War Annual Government Briefings, shares memories about his father U.S. Airforce 2nd Lt. Harry E. Rushing, a pilot with the 39th fighter interceptor squadron during the Korean War, during the remembrance ceremony at Arlington, Virginia, Aug. 7, 2025. The event included presentations of the U.S Government's efforts to achieve the fullest possible accounting of missing Americans from the Korean War and Cold War. The program facilitated communication and collaboration among families, U.S. Government officials, non-government organizations, veterans, and third-party researchers to inform and support efforts in locating missing loved ones.
