JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (Aug. 7, 2025) Members of Task Force Arizona met Aug. 7, 2025, to conduct operational planning and ensure environmental regulation compliance during upcoming salvage operations on USS Arizona. Personnel from Navy Region Hawaii, Navy Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1, and local contractors, will work together to remove two deteriorating mooring platforms from the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, later this year.
