U.S. Soldiers with 101st Division Sustainment Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), prepare to hook an ISU-90 container to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter as part of a sling load operation at Terrell County Airport, Texas, Aug. 5, 2025. The operation allowed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to extend communications across remote sections of the southern border by placing communication equipment in hard to reach areas. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of CBP to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
