Special Warfare Boat Operator Master Chief Stephen Babb is presented with the Helmsman Trophy by Ross Munroe, from the UDT-SEAL Association, during a ceremony conducted at Naval Special Warfare Group Four (NSWG-4) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story June 26. Babb was officially named “The Helmsman,” a title honoring the longest serving active-duty Special Warfare Combat Crewman. Naval Special Warfare provides maritime SOF capability to enable Joint Force lethality and survivability inside denied and contested areas.
