SAN DIEGO (April 17, 2024) Dr. Doug Jones and Dr. Tim Dunn, with Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), are interviewed by National Public Radio’s (NPR) Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal, during the filming of an episode of NPR’s podcast series, “How We Survive.” Jones and Dunn briefed Ryssdal on thermal physiology technology during recording of the episode. NHRC, part of Navy Medicine Research & Development, supports Navy, Marine Corps, and joint U.S. warfighter health readiness and lethality with research and development that delivers high-value, high-impact solutions to the health and readiness challenges U.S. military population faces on the battlefield, at-sea, home and abroad.
