Alfred Owings, an preventive medicine officer assigned to NMCFHPC, with a Meritorious Service Medal during an all-hands meeting hosted by NMCFHPC on Aug. 1, 2025, onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads - Portsmouth Annex. Owings was given the medal for his perseverance and loyalty to his duties during his tenure as the Officer in Charge of Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit TWO (NEPMU-2) from July 2022 to May 2025.
