Esposito, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, honorably served 24 years, achieving over 1,500 miles flying with the AV-8B Harrier, F-35B Lightning II and the UC-35D Citation Encore. His final four years saw him serving as the MCAS Miramar deputy operations officer, the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron executive officer and the MCAS Miramar executive officer.
