During the Devil Avalanche exercise, the 2-82 Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB) led the formation of a Multi-Functional Aviation Task Force (MFATF), known as Task Force Corsair. The missions included medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) operations, which provided en route medical care and life-sustaining treatment to patients. Flight crews were seen conducting pre-flight and safety checks on a U.S. Army MH-60 Blackhawk prior to takeoff. This crew is just one of many who carefully inspected their aircraft, enhancing the unit's overall readiness and combat capabilities. (U.S. Photo by Capt. Shervon Pope).
