U.S. Marines 1st Marine Logistics Group and U.S. Navy Sailors with USS Somerset (LPD 25), receives a tour of Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center during a community relations event in support of Seattle Fleet Week in Seattle, Aug. 1, 2025. Community relations events allow service members to connect with local residents, build relationships and give back to the communities that hosts them. Seattle Fleet Week is a time-honored celebration of the sea services and provides an opportunity for the citizens of Washington to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services.
