Retired Col. Dillon R. Patterson stands at attention with Col. Kipp Parker, the 188th Wing deputy commander during Parker's retirement ceremony by the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. Patterson retired from the Air National Guard July 3, 2024. In December of 2016, Colonel Parker separated from active duty and joined the Arkansas Air National Guard as an MQ-9 pilot. He has served as Commander 184th Attack Squadron, Deputy Group Commander, 188th Operations Group, and currently is the 188th
Operations Group Commander. He is a command pilot with more than 4,100 flying hours, 10 deployments, and has been qualified in 5
major weapons systems that include C130E/H3, MQ-1, PC-12, U-28 and MQ-9 aircraft.
