U.S. Marine Corps scout swimmers with Littoral Engineer Reconnaissance Team, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conduct reconnaissance of an island during a small boat sustainment training event at Naval Base White Beach, Okinawa, Japan, July 28, 2025. Marines with LERT and 12th Littoral Logistics Battalion worked together to conduct combat rubber raiding craft sustainment training which included small boat maneuvers and open water safety swimming.
