NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES (July 29, 2025) — Rear Adm. Gregory C. Huffman, Commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), center, is given a tour of the USS Whitehat boatswain training simulator, July 29, by Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Jacob Lytle, left, and Cmdr. Quentin Cooper, commanding officer of Surface Warfare Engineering School Command (SWESC) Great Lakes, while visiting the command’s staff, students and facilities. SWESC Great Lakes is responsible for providing technical training to every surface Navy engineer, quartermaster, boatswain and deck seaman; preparing each Sailor to perform on U.S. Navy ships operating around the globe.
