Rear Adm. Gregory C. Huffman, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, departs barracks at Surface Combat Systems Training Command Great Lakes (SCSTC GL) July 29. During the visit, Huffman met with students and staff to emphasize the critical role of professionalism, combat readiness, safety, and teamwork in strengthening and sustaining a more capable warfighting force. More than 3,000 Sailors train at SCSTC GL annually, delivering advanced education and training opportunities to continue to strengthen the Navy team and ensure its warfighters remain ready and vigilant to face future challenges.
