Hajime Kikuchi, commanding officer of the Japan Coast Guard patrol vessel, Asanagi, following a tour of the ship while Stratton is moored in Kagoshima, Japan, for a weeklong trilateral engagement with members of the Philippine Coast Guard and Japan Coast Guard, June 17, 2025. Stratton is deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the U.S. Navy’s largest DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
