Japan Coast Guard members conduct a hoisting demonstration for Legend-class U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL 752) crew members during a tour of the Nanatsujima Japan Coast Guard base while Stratton is moored in Kagoshima, Japan, for a week-long trilateral engagement with members from the Philippine Coast Guard and Japan Coast Guard, June 17, 2025. Stratton is deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the U.S. Navy’s largest DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
