Staff Sgt. Chopper IV, left, gives a high five to Chief Warrant Officer Stephen B. Giove after Chopper’s retirement ceremony April 25 at the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band Hall on Camp Foster. The Okinawa-raised, mixed-breed dog served as the III MEF Band mascot for more than 10 years. Chopper IV was an important member of the band during community events. Pvt.
