Thirty-eight newly promoted noncommissioned officers from the 92nd Military Police Brigade took the Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) Charge during an induction ceremony at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center on July 21, 2025.
Hosted by Command Sgt. Maj. Joe Rosa, the ceremony featured the administration of the NCO Oath and Charge by Puerto Rico National Guard Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Juvencio Mendez.
As each inductee crossed under the NCO arch and sabers, they symbolically passed the line of authority—marking their official transition from enlisted soldier to noncommissioned officer.
This solemn tradition honors the legacy of the NCO Corps and reinforces the responsibility, leadership, and professionalism expected of every NCO in the Puerto Rico National Guard.
