Newly promoted noncommissioned officers from the 92nd Military Police Brigade passed under the NCO arch and crossed sabers to symbolically mark their transition into leadership.
The arch and sabers represent the crossing of the line of authority, signifying each soldier’s entry into the ranks of the Noncommissioned Officer Corps.
Following the symbolic passage, each inductee received their diploma, officially recognizing their promotion and their acceptance of the responsibility, professionalism, and legacy that come with the title of NCO.
The ceremony, hosted by Command Sgt. Maj. Joe Rosa and featuring the administration of the NCO Oath by Command Sgt. Maj. Juvencio Mendez, honored both tradition and the future leadership of the Puerto Rico National Guard.
