A M777 towed 155 mm howitzer from the U.S. Marine Corps provides accurate and consistent fire during the combined live fire exercise portion of Talisman Sabre 25. Working in tandem with the Australian Army’s howitzer teams, the field artillery crews demonstrated how rapidly the crews could place rounds on target. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
